Home-based employment is subject to the Individual Employers and Home-Based Employment Sector Collective Agreement (IDCC 3239).

When an employee works in the home of a private employer, the Collective Agreement for the sector branch of private employers and home employment should be applied. It determines the conditions of employment exercised by the employee and establishes a regulatory framework specific to home employment. It also defines the rights and obligations of the employer and his employee as well as the minimum amount of remuneration to be paid.

Any private employer must keep available to his employee a copy of the Collective Agreement for the branch of the sector of private employers and home employment, on which his employment depends.
