We are in the process of designing the websites right now. The home pages have been approved and the tier pages are being designed now. The two sites are basically the same with some minor differences. The content for each site will be different. There is a Login area that is shared by both sites. Ideally, each website would share the database that houses the login content with each site maintaining its own design. We are going to have 3 different types of registered users: Customers Suppliers Employees Depending on the login credentials, each user type will only see their menu of items. In other words, Customers will see: Customers Trade Tools Newsletter Contact Us Connecticut Beverage Journal Suppliers will see: Suppliers Trade Tools Newsletter Contact Us Connecticut Beverage Journal Employees will see: Employees Trade Tools Newsletter Contact Us Connecticut Beverage Journal One of our template pages needs to utilize frames. We would provide a header and footer but the middle frame would be a third-party site. The home pages will include a slideshow. We want the user to be able to navigate the slideshow. Finally, we have a mySQL database that resides on a separate server. If we provide access to this database via phpMyAdmin, can you connect these two website to that database. What we are trying to accomplish is something like this: If a supplier is logged in and clicks on the Monthly Depletion report, the data for that report is housed on this other server in a mySQL database. The reports are generated on the fly based on the users ID. This is the same ID that we are going to have the users register in Joomla with so we will already know the ID if they are logged in. Can we pass that ID to this other server and generate the appropriate report? This is a project that programing is scheduled to begin next week. Can you let me know if you can handle this project, how long it will take and the cost. Thanks. |

My site uses subdomains and multsite structure. The joomla system cache plugin has issues with caching multisite using subdomains. Page Cache caches the URL not including the domain so a homepage loaded for one site will get displayed for another. Need to build another page cache plugin (or modify the existing system-cache plugin) and intercept and extend the JCachePage class to make the cache id include the domain name. So when system cache (page cache)turned on, the homepage of a subdomain will load for the right sub-site. |

Please let all pages look stunning. The trick is not to just put headings, it's about letting it look really beautiful. 3. If there are images on the pages already please use them. Hi, we did a website for one of us customers, but there is still a little bug on it. We used Joomla yootheme PHOENIX templates, we have two module at the "main top" position, at the left, a Javascript galery, at the right, a FLASH player for a moovie. the FIRST time we visit the website, these two box got extra height, then after we refresh, the two box get back to a normal height value. ... Your job will be to correct the bug at the first visit. How to test ? You can use multiple browser, or just empty your temporary cache folder before visiting again. (Note : even with Webdevelopper for firefox, the "desactivate cache" function don't work properly, so after the first refresh, the height will be fixed, then you really need to empty temporary files folder and restart your webbrowser. The name and url of the website is in the TXT files, we do not want it to be indexed by google. Please, start your bid description by "I READ" to proove that your read all of the description, then you are not a bot bidding. If your bid don't have this text ("I READ"), it will be deleted. |

I want to build a plugin or module for showing a panorama view on joomla. The administrator must give the photos and the view must show them on flash. It must not have restrictions on how many photos the administrator could give and it must be compatible with all browsers. Some of the features must be: 1. The administrator must have the ability to set width and heigth of the panorama 2. The speed 3. Scroll left or right 4. Option to autostart or not (this means that it must have the ability to show play,stop,pause buttons or not) 5. Option of setting a link to the panorama (with target) Also the panorama must have the ability to interact with the mouse moves of the user (up, down, left, right and diagonal) I would appreciate the programmers suggestions.
